So, we're in a recession . . . .

Over the last week or so, I have heard from a number of people with whom we went to college -- both in our class and in other classes -- who have lost their jobs. The tough times have spared no one. This raises a question: do we want to figure out a way to help each other out? A job posting network? Something like that?

Please let me know what you think.

I would recommend www.linkedin.com as a way to network and make use of each other's contacts and expertise. The "friend of a friend" feature, plus the thoughtful Class of 87'ers who have become superconnectors should get people in touch with whoever they need to talk to, and maybe make themselves heard through the noise.
